For @Yeamin Hosen Molla Brother-------------------
Here are some Options and Best Fit Settings:-
For LCD / LED / Full HD / HD Ready / Smart TV:-
STB Video Output :- HD
STB Picture Ratio :- 16:9 / Stretch
STB HD Resolution :- 1080p X 50 hz
STB Audio Output :- PCM or DD or DD+
STB Volume Level :- Full or As per Your Requirement.
The HDMI cable which is provided by tatasky with HEVC STB is not supporting 1080p resolution..we have to buy HDMI 2.0 cable separately....u have to confirm that ur TV is supporting 1080p resolution too...otherwise no use in selecting that resolution...
PCM audio is stereo only...if u r using home theater or ur TV support DD then u should select DD...once u select DD then u can't change the audio volume in STB remote...
This what i am seeing in my HEVC STB

Is it worth upgrading to 1080i, if there is no 1080p channels? It's like wasting bandwidth by watching YouTube on 4k videos on FHD display.

Absolutely Bang On Observation @Mr.Bhat Sir. I have purchased HDMI 2.0 separately and it is working Worth full with My Full HD TV. Also Audio as per Your observation working fine in HT. Thanx Sir for clarification.
No, I am asking about 1080p supported channels on Tata Sky. I think no broadcasters provide 1080i dth.
Indian Broadcasters are mainly provides The Progressive Scan Refresh Rates as 1080p for HD Channels. So 1080i have not so much Difference as the Broadcasters till not providing that. May be I wrong - Let other Experts put some Light on it.

In India, all channels broadcast interlaced format. Even when I compared 1080p and 1080i on my hevc hd box, I found 1080i video quality better than 1080p.
If you are watching a sports channel and select progressive(1080p) the moving objects look blurred. Whereas, in interlaced(1080i) the moving objects are more defined and picture quality is also sharper.

I think its vise versa...AFAIK all DTH broacasters provide in 1080i only...1080p maybe some upgrading or converting the resolution...
Anyway i got better picture quality by using HDMI 2.0 cable in my 4K UHD

AFAIK, Indian broadcasters provide 1080i for HD channels. Some stb may have 1080p resolution in settings but that's only upscaling 1080i picture.
So 1080i have not so much Difference as the Broadcasters till not providing that.
1080p videos looks a lot better than 1080i. Watch this video to learn more about it.
