MUMBAI: ‘The Jinx’, a HBO miniseries documentary, is all set to premiere in India on 9 June at 10 pm on ad-free channel HBO Defined.

HBO Defined will air the first and second episode of ‘The Jinx’ back-to-back. This will be followed by the third and fourth episode on 10 June, and the fifth and sixth episodes on 11 June at 10 pm and 10:45 pm respectively.

The documentary is a six episodic miniseries that examines the complicated life of reclusive real estate icon Robert Durst, the key suspect in a series of unsolved crimes.

The series investigates the unsolved 1982 disappearance of Durst’s wife Kathie, the 2000 execution-style killing of writer Susan Berman, and the 2001 death and dismemberment of Durst’s neighbour Morris Black in Galveston, Texas.

Directed and produced by Andrew Jarecki and shot by Marc Smerling, it documents long-buried information discovered during their seven-year investigation of a series of unsolved crimes.

HBO India MD Monica Tata said, “HBO has always aired a diverse genre of shows.

This time also the channel brings to its audience a gut-wrenching experience in the form of a documentary miniseries, ‘The Jinx’.

The makers of the documentary have done a brilliant job”.
