This is India, not America. People dont have so much money to spend on entertainment.
We are still developing.

They shud have brought down d pice for 2 chnls, @ rs.50, and start playing ads.

Its bad news... overall. But yes, HBO :hd wud def. launch in near future, now.

I think we guessed it right when Star World Premiere started showing commercials that the next hit would be HBO channels.

Simply, premium channels does not suit to Indian TV viewers.

Though the rest 30 % makes up, for the ever growing economy, d brand of shining India

d2h was considering to add these 2 channels for a long-time, while RDTV & SD looking to find some space

With the demise of SWP :HD as Premium channels , now HBO's premium channels gonna shut-down..
No more premium channels :nj

Of course, SWP HD is a premium channel for other dth yet
