sorry bro, i don't know how long it take & it's working in lcd & led tv & no need to smart tv & 4k tv & i think Vadi bro also using in led tv & but only one need hdmi port

if u want recording - no uhd box
if u want future ready tech - then as Bapun bro n Sadiq bro told - go 4 UHD
