Hi Guys, There is Two Option Under Sound Setting > Preferred Audio For Hdmi
Pcm Or Dolby Digital Or Dolby Digital+
By Default its Set to Pcm. It is Right Or I Should Change To Dolby Digital?.🤔
(As I am Not Using Any HT With My Lcd)
Which Is Best Option For Sound?? Thank you Guys in advance 🙂

LCD TV will give 2.0 PCM sound.

Even if u set it to Dolby, the TV will send out Stereo. Dolby is best experienced on HT.

PCM is all right as ur using TV speakers.

What is PCM?
PCM-Pulse code modulation. It is a technique to covert analog signals to digital signal streams. Analog signal amplitude and signal power is modulated and compressed so that it consumes less bandwidth. Broadcaster modulates the analong audio streams and in your stb,you have a decoder to decode the compressed signal.

Guys, I Use Only Lcd Tv & Not HT. The Issue Is Regarding Sound In Hd Channels Is Bit Low & Not Surround. BUT With SD Channels (Yess SD Channels) The Sound Quality Is High & Kind Of Surround. Is That Okk? I Think It Should Be Vice Versa.😐
