I remember once raj nayak(ex colors head) was launching one of colors show and at that time star plus was trying to launch quality content like pow dahleez everest etc nd one reporter asked raj nayak why they are not launching quality shows like star plus at that time raj nayak replied thats what leader do by taking risks so you can guess attitude of channel by answer of channel head

Yes, Star Plus takes risks in investments at new slots. But then you have to say, Colors also takes risks in it's show content (Shakti-Transgender and likewise niche content).

At the time of launch colors took big risk by launching social dramas like balika vadhu , na ana iss des lado but soon after this dramas got over colors forgot its roots and trying to launch family dramas , love stories nd what not but you cant say shakti is progressive show....shakti is like parody of social message dramas apart from concept there is nothing progressive there is not even one percent reality .....if they really wanted to show something for transgender community then instead of lovestory nd saas bahu drama they should have shown that transgenders are getting educated nd becoming something like ips, doctor engineer etc but what they shown is nothing but saas bahu drama with kinnar bahu at forefront so i will not say that this show is social drama
At present the only one show is social drama on colors is barrister babu
Btw when colors launched at time of 2008 at that social dramas like laado ,balika vadhu become instant hit but neither zee nor star plus followed the social drama root instead they tried to strengtgen their forte which is family dramas

I liked Diye or bati hum Marathi remake serial.

Pudhacha paul was remake of sathiya
Devyani was remake star plus pratigya

Pudhcha paul was good show at that time. Devyani too was good but was stretched and then bore.
Hindi serials like Diye Or bati hum and Sathiya are good as their remake serials were Hit.

Dont know why Zee network Zee tv doesn't do remake and swamake serials same goes for their Marathi channel. Zee tv hindi and Marathi is avoiding good remakes that's why they are lagging behind.

Star Network is doing good by their remakes and swamakes. That's why Star Plus ahead of Zee Tv hindi.
