Did NTO 2.0 increase or decrease your bill?

  • Increased.

  • Increased but with added channels.

  • Decreased.

  • Pushed me towards OTT platforms like Hotstar, Sony Liv, Zee5, Voot, JioTV etc.

I am using tamil thalaiva pack. Its increased 10 rs only, But we getting kalaignar group channels and Eurosports Hd as extra.

My pack is low because I buy most channel except news ones, Comedy Central HD, Vh1 and Disney International HD on daily basis. Earlier I had Sony's pack which I stopped paying because they only air one show which also goes beyond 11 pm. So I stream it on Sony Liv and SAB is plaqued with new unwatchable re-runs of TKMOC.
Thanks for sharing bro. I mostly watch Hindi & Punjabi channels & made a pack in my budget too.

lam malayalam super pack now But in march it will over. ടം I have to take newly pack malayalam Gold / Premium / ultimate .in ultimate pack only All paid malayalam channels and only channels of Sun Kannada Telugu Tamil Kids. Lost 251 Rupees. No Hindi, English | Sports infotainment channels.. All paid south channels only . In premium pack some more channels available cost 18 1.48. This Pack is good. Somewhat extent. Anyway this new rule is heavy burden to Subscribers : In Premium pack , and Base Pack K Tv not available:

Again i repeat NTO regulations is not the issue, broadcasters have increased prices is the issue. They can very well price channels/ bouquets like Pre NTO days but not doing so. NTO regulations brings in lot of benefits to people which i have discussed earlier too alongwith how exactly broadcasters r not adopting it the right way , if implemented in proper manner then it will be good for all stakeholders ( MSO/Cable TV operators, DTH Platforms, Viewers).

Incase u r using TV for personal viewing then just add or drop channels as pwr ur liking as there is no lock in period, this becomes not possible if TV is used by all family members particularly elder audience who watches most of the content on this medium itself. For individual viewing hybrid/smart box is best option

What should Airtel users do here?

Even they can add or drop channels, there is no lock in period. The 30 day lock in period may be for upfront monthly top ups while regular DBR top up / channel option will most likely continue. Already mentioned this earlier in the concerned thread :)

So, it's only applicable to DPO discounted packs? 🤔

No. Still no confirmation but i think it will be limited to Top Ups and A-La-Carte channels just like currently too one has option to choose between DBR (daily deduction) and Upfront monthly (instant deduction for said period) variant for service channel top ups made available on Airtel Digital TV Platform
