Then you needs to ask why people creates 3 in 1 PC or CDMA phones yeah now people can port to CDMA to GSM but before that there is no option its just thinking and creativity nothing else its upto you whether go for it or ignore it.

I am sure this TV will have an HDMI port. After all it's an HDTV. It needs HDMI to accept HD signals from external sources like BluRay players. And if it has HDMI port, it will definitely support an external STB like Tata Sky. So please confirm availability of HDMI port(s).

There is some confusion. A tv can not be locked to a single feed. I am not sure but this is something which does not sound logical to me. If i give feed from my dvd player, will it not take just because it is ddb? And if it takes feed from dvd player then why not from other dth? I think question here is, can tata sky work in ddb way, without separate box.

Well there is no way i think STB is built in the DDB.

Will Tatasky smart card works with DDB TV by directly inserting in TV instead of Tatasky STB ? Anybody have any answer

I don't think it will support its not made for pairing different dth anyway.

So buying DDB TV is useless if u don't use D2h as u have to use other DTH STB and connect it via HDMI like we normally do

Why you going purchase DDB and if purchase then why going to change the DTH there is no way back, Videocon has tons of range in LCD and LED TVs its a mistake of a buyer.
