How to view test channels?

Can anyone tell me how I can view when a particular dth provider is testing channels. I have Tatasky, is there any specific forum or website where you can see the satellite frequency? I am just curious to know the process.

well you need a fta box to do so.inset your tata sky dish wire in fta box and scan insat4a tp and you'll get them.by the way we always update test channel here.

So this means if I don't have Fta box I will not be able to see testing channels in my STB via other methods?

No you can't dear.In dish tv,adtv,rdtv,sun dth you can do so.But in tata sky its locked by the UI.
