DD Tamil Nadu is there in terrestrial mode if I am correct. Long back I saw DD Tamil Nadu in terrestrial showing different dubbed religious program by morning 6 to 7 am. Same program was running in Hindi in DD National at the same time. DD Podhigai was showing different program that time.

Yes, brother. You are correct...

TV station/studio of DD Chennai, DD Coimbatore, DD Madurai and DD Pudhucherry is also broadcast their regional specific programs for few hours daily. It's called narrow casting via Terrestrial service in respective regional areas.

Unfortunately, narrow casting programs of the above stations is not being available on any Satellite channels of Doordarshan like DD Podhigai.

Apart from that above 4 tv station has contributing the programs daily to Satellite channel of DD Podhigai.

DD Coimbatore's ad revenue alone was reached Rs. 25 lakh per month during the last financial year 2016-17.

Like that each state has minimum 3 to 4 DD's TV stations are running across India.

DD Pudhucherry have capacity like DD Chennai to run a 24*7 Satellite channel but DD won't do.
