Is it true that, SD channel quality will improve with HD box ?

I have recently upgraded CRT TV to Toshiba 32PU200 LED TV (HD Ready)

I am using Airtel SD settop box now.For this TV, SD channels quality is not that good but audio is fine.

Is it true that, SD channel quality will improve if we upgrade to Airtel HD settop box.

Please help me out.

Yes, as you use hdmi wire to connect it improves. But if u use av wire to connect, in hd box also quality will remain same.
