U know ipl is aired even on SS2... That is priced at Rs. 6

Star Sports 2 is temporary. All matches doesn't air on that channel. And no point of airing matches on Star Sports Select 2 HD. Select channels airs dugout feed. They only got one dugout studio.

I was watching Star Sports HD 1, just saw a ad regarding HD channels Dabba ad which features dhoni, asking customer to opt for hd channels as the customer having hd tv.

As the ad finish it's shows star sports hd channels, it shows 4 channels Star Sports 1 HD, Star Sports 2 HD, Star Sports 1 Hindi HD and Star Sports Select 1 HD but not Star Sports Select 2 HD, will Star Sports network shut down Star Sports Select 2 HD in future or may be as the ad is regarding to IPL and it will be shown on these 4 channels only that's why missing Star Sports Select 2 HD.

Not sure but as many channels shutting down may be Star Sports Select 2 HD also in future

Not at All. This Ad is regading IPL T20 . IPL Broadcasts at SS 1HD , SS2HD (English Feed) , SS 1 Hindi HD (Hindi Feed) and SS Select 1HD(Select Dug Out Feed) . Thats why SS Select2HD is not showing on that Particular Ad.

They are ditching Bundesliga? For real? FC Bayern literally made statement about quality of Bundesliga in UCL. What's with these clowns in star sports? Sometime i think bots are running star sports. They should just shut regional sports channels instead of this.

Bundesliga is not profitable for STAR, they don't have enough viewers and thus advertisement revenue for other than Bayern matches. Even Dortmund or Leipzig matches don't have enough following. Ligue 1 had this similar issue, only PSG matches had followers and finally the league went off air in India.
