Name change to Star Sports 3 HD. I think Star Sports is planning to shuffle all sporting events among all it's channel while keeping niche content exclusive to Star Sports Select 1 HD.

S.S select hd2 is mainly for non cricketing events such as F1,FOOTBALL,TENNIS,ONE series(UFC type),GOLF. they telect old IPL matches because nowadays there's less sporting events due to covid this is one of the reason(main no live cricket) it's cost less than other starsport channels.
