Now that his 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' trip is over, Hrithik is seriously making his way back into his father Rakesh Roshan's most awaited project 'Krrish 2'. While the movie is gradually taking shape, the team is still waiting for its female lead.
Yeah, some time ago the project had roped in Chitrangda Singh, but of late there has been change in plans. Instead of Singh, Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez said to have been brought on board now.
It is said that the father-son duo had recently met Jacqueline, who has become a hot property after her sizzling image in 'Murder 2'. The three had a lengthy discussion over the movie which probably lasted for nearly three hours. After their meeting and hearing the script, Jacky said to have shown her excitement to do 'Krrish 2'.
The movie was initially scheduled to start its shooting in October but then it got postponed to December. Owing to this Chitrangda said to have opted from 'Krrish 2'. While Rakesh maintains that she dropped the project due to date issues, some sources believe it is because the actress felt her role in the movie was not as she had expected it to be. Earlier Chitrangda had thought she will be playing the female villain in the movie, but then she realised it is just a cameo role and so she dropped the project, sources explained.
As of now, things are still uncertain on the movie's front and one has to wait for the concerned parties to make a final announcement....
