After several companies announced a holiday on the day of its release, Rajnikanth’s upcoming movie ‘Kabali' has now been awarded tax exemption by the Tamil Nadu Government.

Since 'Kabali' bagged U certificate from the censor board members, it is eligible for a 30 percent tax exemption.

As per a Bollywood Life report, now theatre owners and distributors are free from paying 15 percent ( varies form place to place) of the ticket and a strict 30 percent in Chennai to the Tamil Nadu Government.

This exemption can contribute to its success at the Box Office.

Directed by Pa. Ranjith, the Tamil movie has reportedly already broken all records and raked in about Rs 225 crore even before it has got released.

The pre-booking of the tickets has met with a fantastic response and is selling like hot cakes.
The movie is all set to hit more than 5000 screens worldwide in Tamil, Hindi and Telgu on July 22.

Alongside Rajnikanth, ‘Kabali’ has three powerful women in important roles including Radhika Apte as his wife, Dhansika in the role of his daughter and Rithvika, who apparently plays the character of a real life don.
