Vishwaroopam will premiere on TV at 9 PM onJanuary 10 via Tata Sky’sDTH, eight hours prior to the release in theatres, if things go as expected. The Price for the package is expected to be around Rs 1000 for a family of 4.
Kamal had paused his DTH(direct to home) plans after theatre-owners, whocame to know of Kamal’s ‘unique’ idea, decided in unison to impose a permanent ban in taking up the release of Kamal Haasan’s films in future in case he didn’t’ relent on his decision.

With Tata Sky coming forward to take Kamal viswaroopam DTH rights with plans to expand in the industry, the field leader SUN Direct not wanting to loose their customer base is now trying to buy studio green’s Alex Pandian Tamil and Telugu DTH rights for 20 Crores.
