Discussion Kannada Serials and Reality Shows Update

Now only Colors Kannada don't have any afternoon serials.even shantam papam have ended.only retelecast.

After getting decent ratings for prime time serials from 6 to 10.30pm, Udaya is now trying to build afternoon slots.
Hope both Kaadambari and Ninnindale gets good ratings of 2+ tvr, since they are trying original rather than dubbed ones. They may get good ratings as they have decent rural audience base.

It is good that afternoon slots are again opening in Kannada market.
Zee got huge ratings for afternoon dubbed serials.
Matte Vasantha in Suvarna got 2.7 tvr and is the third most watched serial of Suvarna this week. Jeeva Hoovagide got good rating of 2.4 tvr for 1hr telecast (1.30 to 2.30pm)

Gemini tv is starting two big shows - telugu version of KBC and Master chef.
Don't know why Udaya is not showing interests in Reality shows.
They are decent in serials and very good in movies, only thing they are lagging is reality shows. They should start working on it.

Now in kannada market afternoon slots, evening slots are opening. It is a good that kannada market will grow big like telugu and tamil market.

Everyone in our home absolutely loved the Ede Tumbi haduvenu. No mobiles , no cross talks during SPB sir’s statue anavarana. I liked the show too. Singers are good (not like haadu Karnataka), decent anchoring (could have been better ). Best part is the old contestants. CK weekends are getting stronger. It’s a good sign.

Good to see previous contestants of Ede thumbi haduvenu.(Deeksha Ramakrishna, Nitin Rajaram Shastri, Vinay Kumar{Finalist of inagural season}). Most of them are grown up now. I watched them when they were kids. One contestant changed her profession to acting from singing.I noticed her acting in Hoo Male.

So it is now only Colors, which doesn't have new content for afternoon slots.. Will they also start new serials? I think they must do to be in 2nd place in ratings as afternoon slots becoming key slots now..

In which slot it could be as Sunday Prime Time & Weedays 3-6pm is completely reserved for movies..

Weekend movie they can telecast from 6 to 9pm(half an hour before current timings), and they start reality show from 9pm
