@Shantanu bro perhaps you never saw what I had posted the other day… SGS (particularly Star Gold Select SD) is not as bakwaas as you think. :lol:

(i) Salman Khan films except Bajrangi Bhaijaan. They premiered Tubelight but they will never air it again. So do not expect ghatiya films like Kick/PRDP. Same for Ajay Devgan. Don't expect Singham/Golmaal 3 on SGS.
(ii) South Indian films, such as Vidhwanshak, Main Hoon Rakshak, etc. which are found on all the Hindi movie channels except Sony Max 2, Zee Classic, &pictures HD and Cineplex HD.

JD Majethia and ace writer Aatish Kapadia are bringing back another cult show from their stable. Yes, the series we are talking about is Khichdi on Star Plus.

The new series will feature the same talented cast Anang Desai, Supriya Pathak, Vandana Pathak, Rajeev Mehta and JD Majethia himself.

So who will reprise the role of Chakki and Jackky which was earlier played by Richa Bhadra and Yash Mittal respectively?

Thid time as well the makers are planning to introduce young kids Jackky and Chakki. And it has been informed to us, Aatish’s son Agastya and JD’s younger daughter Mishri is making their TV debut with Khichdi to depict the above mentioned characters.
The entire cast has began shooting and the show is expected to launch on January (2018).

So unlike Sarabhai, this will telecasted on Star Plus and not on Hotstar.

great news these guys have always brought quality content on tv. great memories have been cherished.
 
One of the cult shows on TV- Khichdi will soon be back on our TV screens!

The Hats Off Production helmed by JD Majethia has already started shooting for the project. The makers have managed to bring back the same cast namely Rajeev Mehta, Anang Desai, Supriya Pathak, Vandana Pathak and JD Majethia himself.
TV actor Balvinder Singh Suri and P.O.W fame Sameksha have joined the cast, both the actors will be part of Parminder family and have very interesting roles to play.
