MUMBAI: Kya Super Kool Hai Hum, content and the Ramzan month notwithstanding, has sustained well through its opening weekend. The film collected Rs 231 million in the first three days. Girish Johar of Balaji Telefilms claims this to be the biggest opening weekend collection for a Ramzan month release.
Mere Dost Picture Abhi Baki Hai did very poorly, managing to collect a little over Rs one million in its first week.
Challo Driver did poorly as well with just about Rs 600,000 to show for its first week.
Gattu, a Children's Film Society enterprise, collected Rs 1.5 million in the first week.
Cocktail collected Rs 175 million in its second week, most of it coming from its second weekend collections. This takes the film's two week tally to Rs 713 million.
Bol Bachchan did reasonably well in its third week collecting Rs 109 million thus taking its three week total to Rs 930 million.
Gangs Of Wasseypur collected Rs 2.5 million in its fifth week taking its five week total to Rs 267 million.
Ferrari KI Sawaari added Rs 1.3 million in its sixth week, taking its six week tally to Rs 282.8 million.
Rowdy Rathore collects Rs 2.5 million in its eighth week taking its eight week total to Rs 1.38 billion.
