LG shows off double-sided OLED TV that lets you watch shows on either sides

Fights over who’ll get to watch their favourite show on TV at a common time will soon be a thing of the past. LG has unveiled one-of-its kind OLED TV that comes with a double-sided display that allows simultaneous viewing of different content.

Introduced at the IFA 2015 trade show in Berlin, the 111-inch double-sided TV by LG is made of three 65-inch UHD OLED displays and allows two viewers to watch different sides of the television simultaneously.

LG also unveiled a 55-inch version of the innovative double-sided television which measures just 5.3mm thick.

While its consumer usage still needs to be charted out, it shouldn’t be difficult to imagine a setting where family members are able to watch their favourite shows at the same time, however, with headphones on.
