While Star bharat will have original shows specifically targeted at rural audience.

may be its good for rural areas.

Its seems that Star is struggling financially which is the reason they are shutting their channels so rapidly like FX HD, SS 3,4 and now LIFE OK HD

So they replaced them with new channels

Dear When compnay dont have money to invest and launch new channels they take such type of steps,

Let you explain

FX HD shut down but there are many other channels in HD by other operators which not getting good rating but still funtional

same is the case with SS 3,4 , and now Life OK HD

LIFE OK HD was a good channel and had good program line up but they shutting it down and replacing with one SD channel

HD channels operating cost is 5 times compare to SD so we cant compare SD with HD

replacing one channel with other gener is not replacement

like LIFE OK HD will be gone permanently in Hindi Genre

they will left with one Hindi GEC channel in HD which is Star Plus which i dont like due to virtually unlimited/longer number of episodes of serials

Let's see what star will do. Let's wait for official announcement.

I think seeing this zee will also make &tv FTA or will make it available via dish TV.

&TV is getting average trps in urban. They just need to spice up rural ratings.

Hopefully Star Bharat HD will be launched. There is no guarantee that just because Star Bharat is targeting a rural audience it should not launch HD feed. Since the content is original and not rerun content, people will want to see them in HD. Star knows that Life OK HD was a destination for alternative content, different from Star Plus's women-oriented serials. Star Bharat will do the same thing. Except that Star Bharat is targeting a rural audience while Life OK targeted an urban audience (and &TV is doing so too).
There is no rule that a channel available on Freedish should not be available in HD. :no:

it was good channel i will miss it

there is no hd version of star bharat

star cant afford hd channels cost that might be a reason to shut down hd feed

@All: Please do not assume that Star Bharat HD will not launch until there is official confirmation from Star's end that Star Bharat HD will not launch. :tup Maybe they updated the website too fast.
