I tested all of these lnb....
Airtel LNB has good signal quality meanwhile Sharp has slightly less quality but signal strength is very high at sharp lnb

I changed Sharp LNB with Dish tv lnb on my videocon D2H as it get less attenuation in rain.

Sharp lnb is actually not provided by sun direct.. So u opted for sharp lb by purchasing it from market right?

Hirffa bro,sharp lnb sundirect only provide for me & before i use sundirect sd in another connection provide sundirct lnb & in my area sd stb means sundirect lnb & hd stb means sharp lnb:tup

Here's my personal experience, most recently while tracking express 103e.

Sharp lnb gave performance than airtel lnb. :k

While sharp was able to lock signals, and gave better quality.
Airtel lnb, didnt lock d signals even properly, signals were coming and going.

But, on d other hand, if airtel lnb locks d signals, then it gives better performance. The picture does not freeze even at very low signals.
Whereas in sharp, picture freezes in low signals.

Hence for out of coverage sats/ fringe signals use, sharp lnb.
But for non-freezing use airtel lnb.

In actuality d daddy of all lnb's is Inverto black ultra LNB.

But its almost 6 times d cost of a normal lnb :s
