Looks like October 7 is going to be a BIG day! Apart from 4 other releases, there are two Malayalam releases lined up for the 5-day weekend – Thoppil Joppan and Puli Mururgan! But these are no 2 ordinary releases because one stars Mammootty and the other stars
Mohanlal ! Yes, that’s right, get ready for the most iconic clash between Mohanlal and Mammotty this Dussehra! Can it get more exciting than this? So, what are the two movies about?

In Mammootty’s movie, he’s back to his traditional white kurta- Mundu avatar where he plays a an Achayan ( an elderly person) who does what he believes is right, he may have a drinking problem but he’s unabashed about it. His don’t care attitude along with no fear for the law makes him one entertaining personality! Of course, there is a dash of humour that makes it fun as well! The movie tagline reads 50% love, 50% alcohol. It also stars Mamata Mohandas and Andrea Jeremiah.

While Mohanlal’s film is turning to be one of his most expensive projects till date. He’s reportedly playing a hunter, more likely because the tagline reads, wild hunter. From the looks of the trailer, it’s going to be a visually compelling film set in the backdrop of various jungles! According to an article written by Sreedhar Pillai, the movie’s highlight is going to be a 20 minute climax sequence between Mohanlal and a real tiger. This is going to be Mohanlal’s 4th release of this year. As it’s going to be a major clash between the stars, Fans have already started their war on Twitter. it’s called the M VS M! But amidst this Twitter war, both stars are doing their bit in promoting their upcoming film. So who is going to emerge victorious at the box office? Who are you rooting for by the way?

Meanwhile, the other releases to look forward to this Friday are Siva Karthikeyan ‘s Remo where we will see Karthikeyan play a sassy nurse, Tamannaah Bhatia ‘s horror comedy Devi(L) where Prabhudheva and and the gorgeous actress will be shaking a leg, then there’s the Telugu remake of Malayalam movie Premam starring Naga chaitanya and Shruti Haasan. And wait, we aren’t done,. there’s Vijay’s maar dhaad entertainer Rekka! So, that makes it 6 movies this Dussehra.
