MOVIES NOW HD NOT AVAILABLE

I think from broadcaster end itself they changed it to SD Feed. Since Movies Now + is running HD Feed.

On c band Movies Now HD also converted to SD, Amiko stb not showing it as a HD channel,
but epg name not changed of any channels yet when I checked,
So now it's like this,
Romedy Now HD is Movies Now +,
Romedy Now SD &
Movies Now SD.

So what I told here in the below post is correct...

I have to say some points here.

In Movies Now SD, which is currently a down scale version of Movies Now HD, they stopped showing "Hollywood on HD" and HD animation.

This clearly tells us that the channel is going to continue in SD only.

Moreover, the aspect ratio of SD version is recently changed to full screen in D2H (but not in ADTV and I am not sure about other DTH).

Dish TV alone is having Movies Now HD and that too will be replaced with Movies Now + from Nov 1st.

So, it is clear that, from Nov 1st, Movies Now HD will not available in HD but it will become a SD channel from broadcaster end itself. DTH operators and MSOs are not required to downscale the signals into SD anymore.

Romedy Now - SD Movie channel
Movies Now - SD Movie channel
Movies Now + - HD Movie channel

I got to know this from the below post from Anzar bro. Based on this news I just derived the facts on converting Movies Now HD into SD. I have no other source for getting Movies Now + from 1st Nov on Dish TV. May be Anzar bro can confirm this bro.

Movies Now HD is going to be shutdown from 1st Nov 2014 .so after 1st Nov Movies Now+ will be replace in all DTH.As the channel is going to be shutdown from broadcaster end Tatasky & ADTV already replace from MN HD-MN+.

No news about MN+ addition on Dish Tv because as per news I got to know RN+ going to be removed from 1st Nov on Dish Tv.As already RN+ rebranded as MN+ from broadcaster end but Dish Tv Till now not carrying this channel & Dish Tv which is running RN UHD version is going to be removed from 1st Nov.
