'm jus startn wit dish antenna tv reception.
1500 seems quiet cheap to start with.

Which part of India do you stay? It depends very much on that what are the birds you can catch. What about Thaicom 6A KU @ 78.5* east ? You did not mention about that . I understand you can get Nat Geo music HD , But mostly it is b*ss key encrypted, I am not sure.
