My review of my new d2h hd box
1. Pros
A. Excellent pic quality
B. Many ROI channels as compared to my previous dth sun
C. Active services
D. Bhakti Active my mom likes it very much
E. Popular Bengali Combo only Rs 57.5 +Tax a month
F. No freezing of channels unlike sun
G. All major Bengali channels
H. Excellent customer service
I. Quick installation
J. Prompt service.
2. Cons:
A. Extreme loud audio in some channels like News Time Bangla, PTC News etc
B. Some Bengali Channels like Enterr10 Bangla, CTVN AKD Plus, Calcutta News missing
C. English news chs not a part of initial ROI packs
D. Too many South Indian channels compared to ROI chs but then again its good for South.
Now why I chose Videocon?
Honestly speaking initially I was planning to buy Dish TV. But the reason I did not buy is non availability of Ruposhi Bangla, the same reason I disconnected Sun. This is my mom's fav. Ch. Earlier she watched by jio tv. But now as she faces problem to operare mobile she wants this ch on tv.
I never looked for tata sky as it’s too costly for me.
Airtel service is not good as my relative uses it & I know it.
DD Free Dish HD I am already having
Sun Direct HD I have used.
So D2H. Best to me now.
HD channels pic quality marvellous.
SD channels also not bad pic quality.
To me d2h marks:
8 out of 10.

Another Point: Active services are there.
In sun direct no active service.

Am using d2h for last 2.5 years, and am very happy with that product.
There are lot of negative reviews about d2h in this forum, but honestly speaking (at least in chennai) the pic quality , their services, adding channels through watsapp , all these are excellent. i havn't face any issues for last 2.5 years.

I'm using for last 8years no issue. Excellent PQ quality.

Dada sd channels picture quality aur sound quality k bare mei kuch boliye...mai v ek d2h hd Box lena chahate hain
Kiya sound quality achha hai sd channels k?waise picture quality to bahut achha hai suna maine

SD sound quality also good don't worry about Sound quality,
If you want HD box take HD RF Set-up box_Radio frequency remote best STB,

I using d2h from last 10 years first 4 years for was better with their old 2011 SD stb with universal remote .. around 2014 upgraded to HD ... RF 2222 stb which was third class remote buttons were hard to press plus channels changing problems less than 6 months got another STB
I have used 556-b, 2244 , 6666 stb
Finally using V7000 STB with Dish TV brand remote (average quality)
So in last more than 10 years d2h not worked their Products quality
At time they were quantity with cheap package priced DTH .. even dealers were preferred d2h over airtel or tata sky

But now I not able to see d2h working on their product or channel addition

Recent time hardly any channel addition are happening even carriage fees channels are not getting added.. may channels are not interested to pay combined money for both dish tv and d2h
