NDTV Good Times hunts for nine adventurists through new reality show

MUMBAI: Lifestyle channel NDTV Good Times is hunting for a team of nine daredevil adventurists that will take on the base camp trek for the highest mountain in the world, Mount Everest Base Camp, through its new reality adventure show Kingfisher Blue Mile – Mission Mount Everest. The show will air every Saturday and Sunday at 8 pm on 14 March.

Handpicked through a series of adventure laden campouts from all across the country, these adrenalin junkies will push their limits to trek to Mt Everest Base Camp.

They will be climbing 8000 feet while covering around 150 km’s on foot. Bulk of the trek to Everest base Camp will be in high altitude, walking and talking will be a challenge with hilarious incidents on the show.

The adventurists will be mentored by world record holding mountaineer twins Tashi and Nungshi Malik. Trekking alongside the explorers is Gul Panag.

Together they will undertake this journey of a lifetime to the base of the highest point on earth – The Mount Everest.

The participants will be judged on the basis of their adventure quotient, from water based activities and rope activities to climbing skills.

They will also be marked on the basis of their physical, mental and emotional strengths and most importantly the stamina and endurance each individual will portray. Each campout will have 3 to 4 adventure activities.

These campouts have been conducted across India, Delhi to Bangalore, Kerala to Shillong, selecting the nine most deserving
