Discussion NDTV most trusted private news network | Reuters Institute, Oxford University

The Report is at global level not India-specific. Reuters Institute and Oxford University's "The Trust in News Project" is funded with a grant from the Facebook Journalism Project.
If it's a global level research, why not include other international channels like CNN, wion, NBC et al.?

Also, funded by Facebook. More reasons to be skeptical of this..

You haven't looked at it. Country wise analysis is given as well that includes CNN. Here are some excerpts
Among the 15 brands, the most polarising was CNN, where there was a 50 percentage point gap between party identifiers: 79% of Democrats said they trusted CNN somewhat or completely compared to 29% of Republicans.6 Similarly large gaps were apparent with respect to the New York Times (trusted by 78% of Democrats but 33% of Republicans) and Fox News (36% versus 62%).
We find evidence of similar trends in the UK, India, and Brazil; however, partisan divides in these countries were often found only for specific brands rather than across the board. The BBC, for example, was trusted somewhat or completely in the UK by a roughly equal percentage of Labour and Conservative party supporters – 78% and 79%, respectively.
Significant gaps in trust related to use are present for other brands as well, such as Terça Livre in Brazil (1.1), Republic TV in India (0.6), Fox News in the US (1.0), and the Sun (0.8) and the Daily Mirror (0.7) in the UK. BBC News (0.6) is among the brands with the lowest gaps in trust between those who use it and those who do not consume it frequently.

It's a good practice to always think twice before believing in anything. So here is the original full report itself, it contains everything like how data was collected, what framework used, etc. and many other data too.

Detailed Report
DD news as expected at top. But surprised for TOI. Their news quality is pathetic here. Hindustan Times should have gotten more. Never really felt any bias in their articles. By the way where is New Indian Express? It is a very good news network in Eastern India. Good level of news article and coverage by them here.

New Indian Express is from South India like Deccan Chronicle and The Hindu. Indian Express is available outside the Southern states.
