New Indian Express is from South India like Deccan Chronicle and The Hindu. Indian Express is available outside the Southern states.
Yes. But they are a good outlet. Their coverage is good and is more like critique of government instead of anti party/idelogy. Unlike The Hindu, they are not biased towards anyone.

These "surveys" from these "reputed" institutions are always biased these days. The Chinese are funding most of the Indian media outlets and many newspapers / journalist are on their payroll.
Which media outlets are financed by Chinese?

Small world, eh? WION, a channel who rants about China and Wuhan Virus all day long. It's owner is renting out apartments to Chinese Consulate. World is one, indeed. 😂 Zee Media's Subhash Chandra rents out Mumbai bungalow to the Chinese Consulate, according to real estate site
Let's not forget the fact DishTV was the only operator carrying CGTN. With WION even taking opportunity to collaborate with Chinese government mouthpiece CGTN in the past for news coverage.

Here's something interesting. Quote from the article
Essel said in a statement. “Out of the aforesaid, the group seeks to sell about 2.3% stake in ZEEL to OFI Global China Fund, Llc and/or its affiliates," it said.

Promotional ads. Our state governments does same too. Hence, you find American Magazines praising certain states. Doesn't mean it affects the Editorial of the news outlet.
State governments do it, that is different. Why would a newspaper promote ads from government of another country (read Enemy) on its front page?

Also, a couple of months after this "ad", China showed its true colors...

I clearly said state government does in International Media. If we do. Why wouldn't we expect others to not do same?

You don't understand it. But it will affect. Changing mass opinion does not mean you need to spread propaganda. You can omit some fact and that will do the job. TNIE published a whole piece dedicating to Chinese virus some months ago. Hindu may choose not to do so. That way the matter will die on it's own. What i want to say is that they may influence Hindu to not use China with the word Virus. Or don't spread bad news about China. That will be positive PR only.
