NetworkPlay Signs Up Sun Direct TV For Ad Inventory On DTH

Online ad network NetworkPlay Media has entered into an exclusive advertising partnership with SUN TV’s DTH division Direct TV.

NetworkPlay will own exclusive selling and ad-serving rights on SUN Direct’s DTH platform. SUN Direct claims it has 6.7 million subscribers.

“DTH is the only space where there are branding opportunities on an uncluttered platform. SUN Direct adds a unique strength to the bouquet of DTH advertising options we offer,” said Ampreet Singh, co-founder of NetworkPlay. The company recently launched a performance marketing division called NetworkPlay Results, which will focus on the CRC and CPL segments.

Mahesh Kumar, CEO, Sun Direct said, “NetworkPlay’s experience and leverage in the area of DTH advertising gives us the opportunity to monetize our growth in an effective way.”

Competitor Komli Media India Pvt Ltd recently acquired Singapore-based Aktiv Digital, an online media firm for branding, lead generation and marketing.

Other ad networks in this space are Smile Group’s Tyroo Media Pvt Ltd, Vdopia Inc, which runs video advertising network iVdopia, Jivox, Guruji’s mobile ad platform Adiquity, the Indian arm of UK-based online affiliate marketing player OMG, Ozone Media Solutions Pvt Ltd, IndiAds and AdsForIndians
