yep using 20+ months huawei sd boxes not even single lag or freeze luv .. Compare to d2h dustbin stb :wall ..

But if HEVC is supported in the box then it is not limited to HD only and 4K will by default be supported. Am I correct or wrong?

HEVC support smart TV boxes are already available. Some satellite receivers like Openbox Z5 latest models has hevc codec supported.

HEVC is the encoding system which uses h265 or x265 codecs. It offers better compression in the file size without loss in picture and audio quality. It is the reason why hevc encoding is widely used in foreign countries for 4k channel telecasts.

But it just means that an x265 encoded files or channel can be played. Not that it should be a 4K.

If the box is having 4K support, it will be clearly specied.

If it is 4K supported box, it will be clearly specified.

All hevc boxes cannot support 4K.
(Similarly there are 4K boxes that cannot support HEVC encoded format )

4K and HEVC are totally unrelated.
