Tata Play HD Box and HEVC

Hi Team,

Got the below image shared by a local distributor through WhatsApp for BOX-only offer of Tata Play HD.
The box has the HEVC logo in this. Is tata Play supports HEVC by default or is it a new box hevc compatible??

Tataplay compression is MPEG4 DVBS2. Not HEVC.There are unconfirmed news that Tataplay is moving to HEVC once Gsat24 activates and it will be in phases

I think they are advertising now as hevc compatible like airtel probably because new sat will use HEVC
