The card box had really good picture quality, after that with cardless design boxes the quality is inferior.

It’s my experience as I used both boxes but the old Pvr box calcomp made with dual tuner picture quality matches with HD plus

I think card boxes are of Videoguard whereas cardless boxes are Irdeto. It seems Tata Play is going to leave Videoguard encryption

Binge plus box have more picture quality than HD plus

I use both hd plus and binge plus and I can say that hd plus stb has better PQ for SD HD channels

Again this is subjective and depends on which TV is being used
