Don't go by what shows in transponder menu of ur STB, it does reflect number of transponders as well as satellite currently in use. Airtel is using both SES 7 and SES 9. Former is having 36 Mhz tp if i am not wrong and latter is 54 Mhz compliant. Haven't checked it recently hence can't confirm surely.
Do not worry channels will come, they will rearrange channel numbers to accommodate new channels as well as place them properly to gain maximum incentive from broadcasters. Also right.now their system is chocobloc with traffic, any attempts to make new changes will further complicate things hence they r rightly going slow on addition front. Give them time " Acchhe Din Bas Aa Hi Gaye"
