DNN (Dummy channel. Never activated to any customer)

Out of these 12 channels,

3 channels were closed by broadcaster. If you consider that it is a D2H problem, then it is Tata Sky, Dish TV, ADTV, Sun Direct and RDTV problem as well.

1 channel (Namostute) is not a permanent channel so removed. I suggest all of you to not count this channel under addition also.

1 channel (DNN) was added but not activated ever so it cannot be considered as removal. I suggest all of you to not count this channel under addition also.

So, only 7 channels were removed from D2H.

I am not doing partially so let us apply this logic to other DTH as well.

Below are the channels removed in other DTH but the reason is broadcaster.

D2H:
Total Removed : 12
Broadcaster & temporary: 5 (24 Ghantalu, ETC Punjabi, Fox Sports News, Namostute, DNN)

Net Removal: 7

Dish TV:
Total Removed: 6
Broadcaster & temporary: 3 (24 Ghantalu, ETC Punjabi, Trendz)

Net Removal: 3

Tata Sky:
Total Removed: 3
Broadcaster & temporary: 1 (ETC Punjabi)

Net Removal: 2

ADTV:
Total Removed: 10
Broadcaster & temporary: 3 (24 Ghantalu, ETC Punjabi, Trendz)

Net Removal: 7

RDTV:
Total Removed: 10
Broadcaster & temporary: 1 (ETC Punjabi)

Net Removal: 9

Sun Direct:
Total Removed: 4
Broadcaster & temporary: 1 (ETC Punjabi)

Net Removal: 3


Justification:
RDTV leads in total removal with 9 channels.
D2H and ADTV are in second place with 7 channels.
Dish TV, Sun Direct are in third place with 3 channels.
Tata Sky at fourth place with 2 channels.



Note: I didn't see any update saying Dish TV removed Namostute. Even if that is counted, the net removal count for Dish TV is not going to be changed since the total removal will be 7 and broadcaster count will be 4 which will also result same net removal as 3.
