Problem with remote

I am suddenly seeing issues for Channel change button "+/- "and information button " i". They stopped working suddenly.
However I am able to browse through channels by entering channel number . Is anyone else seeing similar issue. Is this a remote issue or software update issue?
I am using normal videocon stb

Oh God.. Thats too bad. How can i get this resolved. Its been 2 years that I started d2h. Can I get this replaced or do I have to order separate new remote. How much does it cost

New remote is the only solution :s .. Cost 150 - 200 if SD type remote means not sure .. Contact CC for exact value :-/ ..

Buggy STB & Faulty Remote in d2h always :wall .. I too have no surprise content in post#01 coz itz bound to happen in d2h remote after 16 months of purchase :angrys:-/ ..

You will replaced it by giving 200 rs+ 150 rs(visiting charge) =350 rs I think...

@priyatnl -- try to purchase remote in open local market instead of ordering new remote from d2h .. Itz all 2nd hand remotes they always issue .. Compare to this local open market remote is 1000 times better ..

If you buy from the dealer directly, you can save the technician visiting charges or buy from local shop as Sai bro said...:k

+1 .. Little correction my d2h hd (2222) stb remote not working 3 to 5 buttons after 1.2 years :wall ..
