RIL/Viacom18 (Jio) holds the majority stake in STAR India after merger, so they clearly states Jio Cinema is the merger entity's OTT (might rename to Jio Star).

Jio cinema is name, they wont make any new name. its confirmed. Mostly UI will change .

they will have to shut down existing channel. and wait for some months to rebrand vijay super as colors

Resulting Star Plus, Star Plus HD, Colors and Colors HD for original show while Star Utsav and Star Utsav 2 reserve for re-run.

Star Gold is very popular and known brand in television history that's why they must keep this legacy and remove suffix Colors from each channel and add Star Gold with it and it would be better for them to shut few of the non performing assets.

In Hindi speaking market they must keep Colors as regional brand because rural household audience found more attached to it whereas they must think to shut down all south channel not working.
If working, must replace Colors with Star to make the network look more reliable in pack and without any confusion to customers.
