Seems not official. If this happen they probably rebrand Disney+ Hotstar app & website to new name. Also this website shows viacom18 mail id which is irrelevant for the upcoming company.

The Iceland location is not real though and it would appear for our (this) site too. It's basically the domain privacy protection which hides the actual domain owners location and replaces it with random ones.

The domain is fake though. A company as large as Jio and Hotstar combined would not host their site on Namecheap hosting (found it based on the nameservers).

It's called as domain hoarding. When a new product/service is due for launch, people register the probable domain names and sometimes manage to sell it to the brands at a much higher cost.

But, according to me, this doesn’t look fake at all, even though it really is fake. The font is the real Jio Type font, the email address is an existing Viacom18 address, there are animations for the text. In any case, whoever’s done this (assuming JioHotstar is indeed a fake website) is very skilled in CSS and website design.
