Yes few less known websites and twitter handles posted today that new merged app will be named as Jiohotstar.But non of them are trustable and also no official announcement yet.

Just posting a clarification to stop the misinformation spread further.

Some X handles have taken the information (including the screenshot) from our OnlyTech forum thread, where some members found a random website called 'JioHotstar' and a discussion was made out of it.

The website content was erased a few days ago. But now based on our forum members shared screenshots of the fake website, the news is going viral again by several established X handles. We closed the thread as soon as we found the news to be not true. The tech influencers should also do some fact-checking before re-posting these things as it can cause confusion among the readers.
