So none have bought these channels. Sony Again missed a good chance by not buying atleast some of the channels .

Sony not want to aquire only regional channels, they want to aquire whole network of regional channels such as Sun tv network, ETV network which are regional networks. I hope Sony will able to compete with disney Viacom merged entity.

Ok but Star with Sony was better option because we don't want monopoly of Ambani, and if star had merged with Sony then market would had duopoly which is far better than monopoly
