FIR is registered for committing offences amounting to incitement to disaffection among members of the Police Force and defaming Mumbai Police in their news story reporting alleged "revolt brewing against Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh."

According to the complainant, he was watching Republic TV on October 22 and saw anchor Shivani Gupta alleging that they had an exclusive story on rebellion against Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh within the police establishment.

Anchor went on to state that Parambir Singh was using the power of his position to "settle personal scores" and many of his colleagues in the police force "are unhappy with him."

Could I ask if you were being sarcastic?

My personal view is NDTV speaks truth to power to put it in simple terms. And I have never felt they support anti-Indian activities or protect Muslims. Infact I feel their work is for the larger good and progress of India and equality and inclusion for all.

Anyway, each to their own. That's how diverse we all are.

NDTV has mature way of telling the news. It gives importance to issues which many other news channels do not give. It is not like one of those news channels which starts throwing at you their phrases and propaganda the moment you switch to those Channels. They keep their discussions civic. But that being said, just because they are better than others, doesn't mean they get above criticism. NDTV may or may not have problems with RW or LW or any other political organization, that's not important. But that being said, NDTV DOES try to protect one Community and blame another, like Zee News' DNA. Biased opinions are told in such a way that you start believing it.
There are instances when they put headlines to blame a Community and sometimes put it cover up. Like DD News is also good, but they bring discussions where there is no criticism, but only good words about government policies. But again, yes they are biased. Actually, if today, someone starts pointing finger at everyone alike, they won't ever be backed economically/politically and may be in great problem. Hence, they tend to stick to one side. This is not a fault of the media only, but a whole problem of the type of ideological society and differences where we have come up to, and the one who is alone gets thrashed. Hence all these groupism and bashing at one another. Let's see if it ever ends.
