It is quite possible. I had it changed last week only.

First, I had tried 3 months back but they did not allow then, saying it was not possible. Called again last week and got it switched in 2 hours. You have to call CC and hope the right person picks up, I guess

Friends I am ROI consumer of Videocon d2h i want to change my basic pack super gold to South gold pack.
So it is possible to change my basic pack. suggest me friends.

If your connection is 3-6 months old (not sure about exact period) then you can downgrade the base pack - from ROI to south - on the Videocon dth website. Pl. log on to website.
I don't think base pack can be immediately downgraded for a new connection. However, you can try your luck by logging on to website.
