Exactly, prabhas deserves better. He acts well, fully suited to action scenes, has a great screen presence and physique. We want him to see in movies with good stories, not doing average stuff.

Nah, he don't need to work hard. He can do average stuff and be happy. That's what his fans expects for him. They want him to make money not create a legacy.
Don't worry, with present mindset of Indian Producers and audience, you will keep on getting such baseless movies. They will just earn money for them. Quality wise we will degrade day by day. Remake Old movies , remake old songs, copy International content. That we stand for, right?
Thank god we have actors like Ayushman Khurana and Rajkumar Rao, who are delivering story based hit movies back to back, else Quality movie lovers would have stopped visiting theatres. After Bahubali, always looked toward Prabhas who can create more good multilingual movies in India. But alas, people will make sure we keep on seeing sub-standard Indian movies
I agree Oscar and national awards are worthless garbage which no one needs. Filmmaking is not about winning awards. It's about entertaining audience. Do we work hard for promotions at office? No, we only work to get things done.
Most were complaining that Saaho was too long and exhausting. 3hr movie requires a gripping plot and if all they care about is action then make a 90min movie which is action packed. Then probably people wouldn't complain so much about the story.

Character development doesn't exist in most movies nowadays. And action movies like Saaho's run time shouldn't be more than 90 minutes as you said. This is what Bahubali lacked. In Part 1 Tamannah's character was this brave warrior. In Part 2 same wasn't the case. She barely featured in 1-2 scenes in the action sequences.
