Max2 is mostly renewing films which have aired uncountable times on FTA chs thus losing telecast value. Also overall sony is poor in acquiring or managing bollywood films. They lack films in every segment be it comedy, action or family which attract ratings

They are increasing their library and actually have some good comedies like Andaz Apna Apna, Hadh Kar Di Aapne, Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya, they have action movies iike Rocky Handsome, Batla House, Qurbani, Yalgaar etc and for Family well for that only Thakur Bhanu Pratap and his family are enough

YRF deal with Star is agreement based. The old films from 1975 - 2004 are with Disney-Star. After the logo rebrand with Veer Zaara all the films are with Sony from 2005 - 2012. After 2012 5 movies with Disney-Star then again agreement with Sony is there. All these Films will go to Disney-Star as the agreement expires
