Discussion Satellite rights of Hindi movies

Films shifted because Library period was itself 5 years. Sony had them for 5 years. These films are with Shemaroo so bound to shift. T-Series and VVC Films are direct partners not third party like Shemaroo, Goldmines

Be it thru library companies in a package deal like for Guddu Dhanoa films or directly with big banners like YRF, point is i had stated with movie and banner names that these will shift to star/disney but was mocked and made fun off but now all turning true. Now too members saying for many banners or films that these will not shift from zee or sony but my estimate says they will. Let's wait n see

Bro I think u didn't understand my point. I said zee has given prime time slots for TIME magnetics films which Disney-Star didn't gave to DHANOA films.

Which film? All time magnetic films got prime slots b it afternoon, evening or night across their chs.... Zee got these right now hence airing it at 8 pm slot later it will b aired at random slots thru the day?

They laughed it off because you Said every movie will go to Disney-Star. Since Disney-Star has money and all powers it is safe to assume that people (including me at a point of time) felt that you are biased towards it. They are
laughing on your alleged bias not on your predictions. Many people here are sentimental towards a particular network and Disney-Star is not the network. Now every network is on a revamp mode. Time Magnetics Films , Mushir-Riaz and other banners are trying to revamp Zee's movie cluster, Dhanoa Films, YRF are trying to revamp Disney-Star's. Sony is slowly and steadily trying to move itself away from the shadows of Goldmines, with Suresh Productions.

At that time star/disney was only one acquiring films from diff banners and library companies and i got indication thru research which ones they will get... Similarly at diff times i keep giving my observations as to which broadcaster likely to get what banners of films and where they will lose out. Just that some members see this from a wrong perspective and it should b altered

Venus Films likely to shift to viacom18 , i guess alongwith Shyam Bajaj films which r distributed by venus. Only venus films which r most probably staying with zee sony are - Khiladi, Main Khiladi Tu Anari, Baazigar, Akele Hum Akele Tum, Josh, Yess Boss, Mela , Bbadahah, Dhadkan, Keemat,and some others which r either permanently owned by zee (early 90s one) or with wros (late 90s, early 2000s ones)

Really Impressive Picture Quality and as well as Audio Quality provided by Star / Disney for Newly Acquired Movie Title "Bichchoo"

Also the Decision to give Airtime for "Bichchoo" on flagship Movie Channel "Star Gold" with HD Feed is really Applauded Decision rather than Telecasting on Star Gold 2 or/ Star Utsav Movies. But Yes - After Telecasting for the First Time on "Star Gold" now "Bichchoo" will get definite Airtime on SG 2 / SUM / UTV Movies.

So either Dharma Productions or Cape Of Good Films shifting to star/disney soon or this is just one off case where star/disney is distributing this film and acquired rights too
