I think Karan Johar directional old movies will move to star.. As dharma productions produced movie selfie will be with Hotstar..

I think old movies will move out soon. However, recently acquired ones like YJHD, SOTY, Agneepath, Shershaah etc will continue to stay. Also, Viacom 18 is their partner for upcoming films like Gehraayain, Rocky aur Rani ki prem kahani.

But Bro Yesterday Mr Natwarlal See Than Tomorrow mistake Sony Max 2 Come Promo Tejasvini 1994
I think A.M Rathnam Producer Movie
Tejasvini and Nayak The Real Hero Come Soon
Tejasvini Aired 31 Jan Mon 6:50 Pm On Sony Max 2 schedule

Nayak will stay with star/disney or at later stage shift to zee.
Non shemaroo owned N Chandra and Guddu Dhanoa films will either shift out of star/disney and others too will likely remain out of star/disney unless respective banners signs agreement with them.

Sony had quite a big bollywood library, it did not give proper airtime to most of it and recently in last year or so started losing these films to rivals. In last few months they r now improving upon bollywood content across chs. I sense this happening with zee too, they have much larger bollywood library than what sony had earlier but seem to b not utilising even part of it properly, really hope and wish they give more time to bollywood films asap across chs and let go repeating handful of bollywood films or giving dubbed south indian films more than 50% slots on most days. Viacom18 now has good bollywood content on Colors Cineplex HD but SD feed should have atleast 3 bollywood films in a day so that it can cater to both bollywood and dubbed cinema audience who have subscribed to SD feed.

Sony Max 2 is mostly airing old retro bollywood films these days, i think they will revamp content strategy soon for it once integration of film library is completed

How come Sony bought murder 3 when the film was produced by fox star studios
At that time All movies produced by Vishesh FILMS ( Mukesh Bhatt Production House ) were sold to Sony . Even Aashiqui 2 , Khamoshiyan ( Distributed by Fox Star Studios ) , Mr X , Citylights , Hamari Adhuri Kahani ( All Movies Distributed by Fox Star Studios) went to Sony .

Also Fox star was just involved as Distributor not producer

Currently Vishesh FILMS is with Star

Adding to the above point, being a hindi movie channel zee should give atleast 65%- 80% space to bollywood films in its schedule and for HD it should be above 80% on daily basis with most days having not more than 3 or 4 dubbed films at max. Zee could also have a separate channel for dubbed south indian cinema and keep other channels reserved for bollywood films.

More so if tomorrow Pen Studios decides to shift to other broadcaster or BFlix gets widespread distribution then zee will need a robust bollywood library to keep its hindi movie channels strong in leadership position

Being a person who watches more bollywood films (mostly pre 2010 ones and some new ones) i do not feel like subscribing their channels as on most days it has repetitive bollywood films on air or just dubbed south indian films which cover 50% or more of their schedule. Sony learnt from mistake quite late but zee should introspect and change strategy now itself
