Discussion Satellite rights of Hindi movies

I think star/disney will try its best to renew Sajid Nadiadwala films. They will b happy to step back a little from previous demand of owning all rights of his films and accept buying just satellite rights incase combined rights price offered by them not accepted by producer.

If this happens then future films of Sajid Nadiadwala will premiere on star/disney and older ones will continue remaining with them. If producer has already signed agreement for 4 upcoming films with zee then same will b excluded from star/disney renewal agreement

Zee Cinema logo on posters of his upcoming films can also b bcoz they r media partners or their sister concern zee studios is the distributor. Let's wait for official press release for confirmation. Even if his 4 forthcoming films r with zee still there is a chance that star/disney might renew agreement and continue having older films plus those releasing later

Plz post screenshot of that. About acquiring or losing movies, yes that is common among broadcasters. It is good that all broadcasters r trying to expand bollywood movies library after a period of last 3 years where star/disney was the one who was leading in this . I just hope that zee improves its scheduling of films as it still has so many big banners , huge collection of bollywood films in its library but unfortunately not utilising it well. This is also an aspect where other broadcasters should learn from star/disney as it gives adequate slots to almost all films in its library (there r resting period inbetween where certain movies r not aired)
