99% sure it will b star/disney. All of tips movie library which was earlier with zee and ones which r currently with viacon18... All these will come on star/disney hindi movie chs very soon

By the way we might as well see Munnabhai MBBS and other VVC films soon on star/disney

Bollywood producers / banners know that star/disney hindi movie channels have strong foothold among bollywood audience, so ofcourse money is a key factor but visibility also matters to them. Sony had great opportunity to build a bollywood audience base but earlier they were too inclined towards dubbed south indian films but still quite happy that now they r improving but they need to put in lot of effort to redesign content strategy, acquire more n more old and new bollywood films, promote them well and I m sure they gradually b able to compete with star/disney

Zee needs to learn from mistakes committed by sony and take corrective measures right away so that they do not land up in same situation. Right now zee has decent bollywood audience base and can recover faster.

Bollywood Films can deliver great success / ratings for hindi movie channels and it is of utmost importance to give them prominence on both SD and HD channels if a broadcaster needs to b ahead in this genre as well build a financially viable business model

@dino29 bro I think that Movies like Special 26 , Mary Kom , Chashme Badoor ( 2012 ) , Madras Cafe etc will also move to Zee / Star as they don't usually air on Colors Cineplex channels .

No chance buddy. All r produced or co produced by viacom18 and will stay with them.

I have a pretty clear understanding of which banners will shift to whom in near future but let that remain a surprise. All i can say is that members might be astonished seeing the changes

They aren't TV friendly movies, they are critical movies so they don't get enough TRP on mainstream channels & need channels like SGS/&xplorHD for regular airings

Yes, many movies r expiring and these include dubbed south indian ones which r also on repeat mode. I think even Pen Studio library is expiring soon from zee, they r also on repeat mode. Maybe after seeing success of Dhinchaak, Pen will launch its own channel BFlix across platforms and air dubbed South Indian and Bollywood Films part of its library on it
