Sony has Darna Mana Hai.

Regarding Z Cinema HD having largely bollywood content and separate schedule than SD feed, well i had shared feedback to implement this strategy with Zee Hindi Movie cluster head. As u might remember after tariff order simulcast strategy had been employed but later thankfully after my feedback changes were retracted.


Have lot feedback to share with broadcasters, operators but shortage of time is making me put it on hold

If they have it then why don't they telecast it?
Films made by RGV are masterpieces. Was there any ban on Darna Mana Hai?

There r movies like Style, Ye Kya Ho Rahaa Hai, Joggers Park, 36 China Town, Apna Sapna Money Money, Shaadi Se Pehle which Zee never airs except sometimes in after hrs. Also Housefull, Desi Boys , Yes Boss either airs too late in day or just on HD channels . Actually i have big list of such films, Sony is even worse off in this matter. To b honest Star atleast gives space to all movies in its library but again SG Select needs proper reach and increase in number of films is needed which will happen in over next few months

Repetition happening across broadcasters so singling out Star is unjustified. Regarding older movies Star Shows it on all their chs so again this criticism does not hold true. Infact for each kind of films they have appropriate time allocated or even chs dedicated. By the way on lighter note Zee or Sony does not have equivalent of UTV Action yet

I agree on @dino29 bro's point with Star network. They have a dedicated time slot and channels. But yes the repetitiveness and the pattern of repeating same films is also observed in Star Vijay and Star Maa as well. Tamil and Telugu meme pages always troll Star vijay and Star Maa for repeat airings of their films. Films like Raja Rani, Athadu, Manmadhudu, Kumki, Thuppakki (tamil) have been trolled because of repeat telecasts by Star Network.
As far as Bollywood is concerned this pattern started after Kick Premiere where in films were repeatedly telecast on both Star Gold and Movies Ok. Till date this pattern has been successful but it also has lead to reducing the freshness of the film. No one would believe that a year old Or a 3-4 month old film would be telecasted so frequently on a random afternoon or a random morning.
Star actually changed the dynamics while other networks tried to ape it they were unsuccessful.
Sony mostly is a relationship and contact basis company, Zee too was not into corporatism before SRK Deal but Star was the one which starred the trend. Many producers also despise selling their films to Star since they follow a corporate model, Nadiadwala was furious because of this. YRF was in a great loss and it accepted the offer only to come out from the losses.
I just hope that even competition exists so that it would be helpful for producers

It is mostly telecasted at midnight or something since horror movies are not telecasted on a regular basis.

Exactly. That channel cost ₹6. Meanwhile we pay ₹22.42 for Zee Cinema HD for decades old movie which are even available for free on youtube. Even Star Gold sometime shows movies from Star Gold Select library.

Yes, bcoz And Xplor does that job now... Also lately And Pictures airs some of these. I have shared feedback on this too with them, hopefully modifications will b done later.

Unless you have ADTV/FW or a Zee5 subscription you are not going to get it. What a shame. Such a good channel is not available on TS and JioTV even after a year.
