bro if star has hit Bollywood movies then it should play in night or evening slots but why repeating bro just tell me who will watch same movie 3 to 4 times in a week??
I have explained in my earlier post that Star is known for this, they have found success in it since randomly airing films.

N
Sony Max have huge viewership in north and south too , Max gained maximum viewership from dubbed movies and without dubbed movies contribution channel place will be at 3 or 4th and no 1 place completely to Zee cinema
But bollywood movies like pk, 3 id*ots, Pati patni or woh, Marjaavaan, Hindi medium Batla house Kabir singh, munna Bhai MBBS, Sooryavansham, tumhari sulu, ram leela, yeh Jawani Hai deewani, heropanti, Sonu ke titu Ki sweety, Aashiqui 2 Dilwale, Bhootnath returns, etc+old yrf movies (Sony making full use of them in lockdown) also provided them good trp and these movies often come in top 5

@Jaffer7080 do give a read to this
I agree on @dino29 bro's point with Star network. They have a dedicated time slot and channels. But yes the repetitiveness and the pattern of repeating same films is also observed in Star Vijay and Star Maa as well. Tamil and Telugu meme pages always troll Star vijay and Star Maa for repeat airings of their films. Films like Raja Rani, Athadu, Manmadhudu, Kumki, Thuppakki (tamil) have been trolled because of repeat telecasts by Star Network.
As far as Bollywood is concerned this pattern started after Kick Premiere where in films were repeatedly telecast on both Star Gold and Movies Ok. Till date this pattern has been successful but it also has lead to reducing the freshness of the film. No one would believe that a year old Or a 3-4 month old film would be telecasted so frequently on a random afternoon or a random morning.
Star actually changed the dynamics while other networks tried to ape it they were unsuccessful.
Sony mostly is a relationship and contact basis company, Zee too was not into corporatism before SRK Deal but Star was the one which starred the trend. Many producers also despise selling their films to Star since they follow a corporate model, Nadiadwala was furious because of this. YRF was in a great loss and it accepted the offer only to come out from the losses.
I just hope that even competition exists so that it would be helpful for producers

Who owns Shahid Kapoor starrer Pathshala rights?
